Warm bread, ordered in a few taps and delivered the next morning.
Maia Urbană is an artisan sourdough bakery in Bucharest. The brief: an online shop for one-off orders and, later, weekly or monthly bread subscriptions, with delivery slots the small team can actually fulfil.
The project started with design exploration (friendly, bold and luxury-editorial directions across home, product and cart screens) before the friendly direction was chosen. The build is a full-stack shop with slot-based delivery, a checkout wizard, customer accounts and an admin back office for the daily dispatch.

Delivery Slot Picker
Next-day delivery with a noon cutoff, half-hour slots from 09:00 to 18:00, holiday-aware, and a two-orders-per-slot cap enforced in a database transaction.
Delivery Zone Check
A postal-code checker for Bucharest’s six sectors and nearby Ilfov runs before checkout, so nobody pays for an order that can’t be delivered.
Four-Step Checkout
Cart, delivery, payment and review, with cash on delivery or pickup, vouchers and prices recalculated on the server.
Customer Account
Order history with one-click repeat orders, saved addresses and a GDPR deletion request; email or Google sign-in.
Admin & Daily Dispatch
Order status with bulk updates, product and voucher management, a “deliveries today” view and a printable picklist with per-product totals.
