A verified, invite-only noticeboard for one village and its neighbours.
Corbeanca.eu is a community platform for the residents of Corbeanca, a commune just north of Bucharest. Neighbours share one feed of posts, events, a local bazaar, help requests and official announcements, plus a directory of local businesses and institutions.
Trust is the product. Accounts come only by invitation from an existing resident, location is verified without ever storing coordinates, and moderation, audit logs and a versioned consent gate are built in. It began as a three-day vanilla-JS prototype in 2025 and was rebuilt from scratch in Next.js, with native iOS and Android apps through Capacitor.

Invite-only Trust
Each resident gets five invites a month; six-character codes mark new accounts as verified and record who vouched for them.
Silent Location Check
Two in-area checks at least twelve hours apart, within five kilometres, mark an account as local. Coordinates are never stored.
One Feed, Many Post Types
Posts, events, bazaar listings, help requests, announcements with severity levels and council decisions share one schema, with likes, threads, saves and link previews.
Events & RSVPs
A week strip and date picker, RSVPs broken down by village, and map pins with distance from the centre.
Businesses & Official Accounts
Self-serve business listings with reviews and claim links; the town hall, school and utilities post through verified official accounts.
Moderation & Compliance
Report queue, audit log, role management, versioned consent, account deletion and a full dark mode.
